A Glimpse of Two Worlds-Mestizo recipe book 200/500
This book aims to highlight Mexican history, mestizaje, the stories of Los Angeles-based chefs, and the rich cultural heritage that shapes the future. The project involved designing a recipe book that seamlessly integrates the chefs' narratives with illustrations and photography, bringing their stories to life. A key challenge was crafting a bilingual layout that maintained visual harmony while honoring both languages. It was an incredible experience to contribute to this meaningful project, created for Mexican Ambassador Marcela Celorio and the Mexican community.
